Album Covers
The format of the project was a series of two unique album cover designs, including a front cover, back cover, and round vinyl front and back covers for each unique design. I began by sketching ideas on paper. The final designs were created on Adobe Illustrator, and the mockups were created using Adobe Photoshop. The purpose of the project was to create a fitting album cover for the music itself. This included matching certain design characteristics to different elements of the sound. Something I learned about design in this project was the concept of negative space. The placement of the album name, particularly on the typographic solution, was very important to the overall design.
